Representação e Posicionalidade no âmbito rural na perspectiva de mulheres do Movimento da Mulher Trabalhadora Rural do Nordeste (MMTR-NE)

This article aimed to understand the motivations that led rural women workers from the Northeast to organize themselves in social movements, emphasizing the importance of the social representation of the group, incorporated by the movement, in addition to discussing how the experiences in the Movement of Rural Workers of the Northeast (MMTR-NE) , influences the social interrelationships of women. This study was carried out in a qualitative way, whose data were generated through the Story-Theme Drawing technique (DET). 31 women participated in the study, between January and March 2021. The research that generated this article emerged from the doctoral thesis, carried out within the scope of the Federal University of Bahia, in the Graduate Program in Nursing and Health and was approved by CEP/UFBA with CAAE nº: 37002720.1.0000.5531 Two categories were empirically created: Movement of Rural Women Workers of the Northeast: The fight for a feminine space where patriarchy created the stereotype of the “male goat” and Female leadership members of social movements: The fight for a socially acceptable power. After analysis, it was shown that the MMTR-NE respects the social perspectives of representation and did not surrender to the idiosyncrasies of the unions. Despite the outstanding difficulties, the female empowerment recognized in the members of this movement has immense potential for transforming unequal social relations.

Carreira versus maternidade

O objetivo desta pesquisa é compreender quais os desafios da carreira e maternidade são vivenciados pelas pilotas de linha aérea. A pesquisa é qualitativa de natureza descritiva. Utilizou-se as técnicas de snow sampling (conhecida no Brasil como bola de neve) e a saturação dos dados. A coleta das informações ocorreu por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e a análise se deu por meio da análise de conteúdo. Os resultados da pesquisa ratificam que a profissão ainda é tida como masculina, apesar do crescimento de mulheres nesta profissão. Nota-se que elas buscaram primeiro um crescimento na profissão para depois realizarem o desejo de serem mães. Elas enfrentam o preconceito no exercício de suas funções, são marcadas pela forte identificação com o trabalho, ligadas à maternidade, além de sentimento de culpa e sobrecarga. Ademais, o estudo apresenta os desafios em relação a vida profissional, tais como, pressão maior para as divorciadas, rede de apoio presente até em outros países e, lazer, como uma dimensão inexistente.

A gestão da diversidade e inclusão racial em uma empresa do Vale do Sinos - RS

Many companies have adopted practices aimed at racial diversity in the work environment in order to diversify their professional staff. Therefore, the objective of this study was to analyze how a large company, located in the region of Vale do Rio dos Sinos - RS, promotes the Management of Diversity and Racial Inclusion in its work environment. For the development of this study, the adopted methodology is classified as descriptive, case study with a quantitative and qualitative approach. The actions carried out by the company were mapped, such as the Diversity Program, the employees' view of the company and the program, in addition to suggestions of good practices to be implemented. From the research results, it was possible to observe that the Diversity Program was a good initiative, however it is noted that it has some points to be developed, for which the following implementations were suggested: (i) Internship Program for young black people; (ii) Trainee Program for blacks; and (iii) Executive Diversity School. The view of employees in relation to the company is mostly positive, but with a significant percentage of people who did not agree or disagree with some statements. The suggested good practices are intended to provide racial equity for the company and provide opportunities for professional growth for black people.

The interview with Professor Maria Ignez Silveira Paulilo, conducted on November 23, 2022, in Florianópolis, is part of the NIGS/UFSC project on the contribution of women to the establishment of the Social Sciences program at UFSC. A nationally recognized scholar in rural women’s studies, Paulilo has built a long academic trajectory researching rural women’s labor and served as a professor at the Federal Universities of Campina Grande and Santa Catarina. In the interview, she revisits key moments of her career and analyzes both the political achievements of peasant women and the institutional advances in the inclusion of women within academia.

Furia Travesti: Diccionario de la T a la T, es el segundo libro de Marlene (además de sus innumerables escritos teóricos publicados en diferentes revistas académicas). Es una segunda edición (mejorada y ampliada) de aquella primera publicación realizada en el año 2019. Este libro podría pensarse como una continuidad de la autora en su apuesta por crear una teoría travesti/trans latinoamericana (Wayar, 2019) que pone en foco la experiencia biográfica y que además propone pensar el mundo desde la experiencia trans/travesti. En este diccionario, Wayar lo que intenta hacer es esbozar algunas definiciones sobre aquellas palabras y términos comunes para varias personas de la comunidad LGTBIQ+ (Lesbianas, Gays, Trans*/Travestis, Queers, Intersexuales), pero lo hace desde una mirada travesti, articulando obviamente diferentes autoras del campo del feminismo y los estudios queer, y centrándose principalmente en la experiencia de su propia comunidad.

Brecha de gênero na indústria da música e o Girls Rock Camp como máquina de guerra

The music industry is complex and competitive, and the scenario is even more difficult for female and gender-nonconforming professionals. The gender gap is a challenge, but public and private initiatives are mobilizing efforts to change the scenario. One initiative, active in the country for eleven years, is Girls Rock Camp Brasil (GRCB). Focused on girls aged seven to seventeen, its objective is feminist empowerment using music as a tool through collective practices. Over the course of a week, the girls form bands and perform musical and communication tasks; they practice an instrument (drums, bass, guitar, keyboard or vocals), write a song, rehearse and perform live; they also create the name, logo and costumes for the group. The project mobilizes hundreds of volunteers, and the rapid completion of registrations attracts attention. Due to this mobilizing potential and its transgressive air, this research focuses on analyzing the GRCB and proposes an approximation between it and the war machine, a philosophical concept proposed by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari (1997b), understanding the Camp as a powerful and imaginative way of confronting the status quo in the music industry.

Women directors play an important role on how we perceive and understand narratives in documentaries. The feminine approach put into debate raises possibilities about different perspectives, which can address different sensibilities, bringing to light stories that may have been neglected or underrepresented. When constructing the narrative of documentaries, female directors can bring a different perspective to the construction of the characters and stories of the topics covered, whether they are men, women or things. Through their lens, documented stories come to life in a different way, challenging stereotypes and expanding collective understanding of human experiences. Thus, this article seeks to bring the contributions of Teresa De Lauretis, creator of the concept of technology of gender, to analyze the documentary productions Elize Matsunaga: Era uma vez um crime (2021) and Incompatível com a vida (2023), both by the brazilian director Eliza Capai.

This study aims to reflect, in the form of an Integrative Literature Review, on the construction of clinical psychology and its current practice, based on the concepts of love, care and community in “All About Love: New Visions ”, a work by Bell Hooks. The study provides a historical brief overview of the development and conceptualization of the practice of psychology up to present times, based on an analysis of the notions of love in the author’s work, it seeks to contribute to new possibilities for the practice of psychology. The results were able to demonstrate how it is possible to integrate an ethics of love to counteract the “affective capitalism” and the “crisis of love” present in society and to rethink psychological practices to overcome the barriers of the clinical practice.

Movimentos, Ativismos e Endometriose

A endometriose é uma patologia ginecológica benigna caracterizada pela presença de tecido endometrial fora da cavidade uterina, afetando mais de 7 milhões de brasileiras — o que corresponde a uma em cada dez mulheres em idade reprodutiva. Nas últimas décadas, movimentos sociais, grupos organizados e associações surgiram em todo o país, articulando-se principalmente por meio das redes sociais, com o objetivo de promover conscientização, reconhecimento e reivindicar políticas públicas voltadas ao enfrentamento da doença. Este artigo busca mapear a atuação desses movimentos e de ativistas na formulação da agenda governamental sobre endometriose, por meio da análise documental de sessões da Câmara dos Deputados, discussões em comissões e da tramitação dos Projetos de Lei n. 6.215/2013 e 3.047/2019. Os resultados evidenciam a importância do ativismo institucional na inserção inicial do tema na agenda pública, e a posterior articulação com o movimento Endomarcha, que fortaleceu a visibilidade política da doença e contribuiu para a consolidação de políticas públicas específicas.

O artigo acompanha o cotidiano da Casa de Referência Mulheres Mirabal, uma Ocupação que acolhe mulheres em situação de violência, e teve como foco as relações entre as mulheres ocupantes, a Ocupação e a cidade. O objetivo do estudo é apontar possibilidades de agenciar militância e cuidado no contexto da luta feminista e antirracista em situações de violência de gênero. Também são problematizados alguns desafios enfrentados no cuidado sob a ética feminista e seus entrelaçamentos com os modos de vida na cidade. Trata-se de uma pesquisa-intervenção apoiada no método da cartografia, que se dá a partir de um olhar transdisciplinar e decolonial, compondo saberes da Psicologia Social e da Arquitetura e Urbanismo em suas interfaces com outros campos de conhecimento que concorrem para uma leitura da complexidade que o tema da Violência de Gênero evoca. Como resultado, três eixos de análise foram trabalhados: violência de gênero e o direito à cidade, produção de cuidado coletivo entre mulheres e modos de habitar contra-hegemônicos. Considera-se que, nas relações entre si e com a cidade, as mulheres da Casa Mirabal encontram formas de expandir e reinventar modos de existência, afirmando, nos gestos cotidianos, que cuidado e militância são ações inseparáveis.

Family violence against elderly women who attend an Open University for the Third Age

We focused on violence against elderly women within the family, because in old age violence takes on new interfaces, since two markers are associated: being a woman and being elderly. The studies seek to assist in the formulation of new coping mechanisms that can act more quickly, in addition to highlighting the role of an Universidade Aberta da Terceira Idade in the direct and indirect combat of this phenomenon. The research is qualitative, descriptive and exploratory in nature, and aimed to understand the discourses of elderly women who have suffered family violence and are users of an Universidade Aberta da Terceira Idade in Manaus, in the light of Zanello's Theory of Devices (2018) and of Intersectionality, based on Nogueira (2017) and Akotirene (2020). We concluded that the collaborators' speeches, around violence, are diverse, and they attribute different meanings to the phenomenon. Although there is a common factor between them: violence has always been a constant in their lives, and therefore, they understand it as something inevitable. From this, they find strategies to live with this violence, instead of moving away from abusive relationships and severing the bond with their aggressors.

Gender issues and challenges faced by women military police:

The objective of the study was to identify the challenges faced by women military police, based on the issue of gender, through an integrative literature review. Structured in the PRISMA recommendations, it followed the seven steps of the Bibliographic Review using the State of the Art through Systematic Review (StArt) tool. The search was carried out in five databases, with the sample comprising eleven studies. The main findings were analyzed qualitatively, being grouped into thematic categories. Among the challenges faced by female military police officers are the attempt to overcome physical differences; the gender binary present in a patriarchal society; and gender discrimination and violence within the corporation. Studies show that there is still a long way to go in terms of gender equality in the Military Police. The difficulties observed reflect how society deals with the women's achievements, especially in the occupation of spaces previously occupied only by men.

A violência de gênero contra mulheres negras no período pós Lei Maria da Penha

This article reports on a research which aimed to understand how gender and race influence violence against black women; describe the intersectional perspective present in gender violence; verify the presence of the intersectional perspective in the Maria da Penha Law; and identify the existence of this debate in the field of Psychology. The employed method was an integrative review of published works in the CAPES periodical database, found using the descriptors: "violência de gênero" AND "mulheres negras" AND "Lei Maria da Penha". Sixteen articles were included for discussion, published between 2010 and 2022. Most of the articles were written by women: 37 female authors and only three male authors. The analysis of the articles pointed out a scarcity in the deepening of the gender and race subordination axis. However, most of the works reinforced the need for intersectional focus in the analyses carried out on the theme of violence against women. The results pointed out that the largest number of victims of violence are black women because they suffer doubly from racism and sexism, showing that the Maria da Penha Law is not equally effective for the different bodies and experiences of women.

A judicialização do cuidado de pessoas idosas no Brasil e suas interfaces com as categorias de raça e gênero

The present article sought to analyze, through integrative research, whether the profile of the judiciary can influence jurisdictional decisions, in guaranteeing the fundamental rights of the elderly, who have their care judicialized. For this purpose, searches were carried out on Google Scholar, using as descriptors the combination of the words "judicialization", "judicialization of care", "elderly", "race and gender". The search results identified 7 articles and 1 doctoral thesis; in addition, 6 books related to the researched theme were used. The results showed that the dignity of the human person is the axis that guarantees all the rights of any human being, as is the case of care for the elderly. It is recognized that the profile of the Brazilian Judiciary, mostly male and white, which is categorically delimited by the sexual division of labor, structural racism and narcissistic pact of whiteness. can structure the process of legitimizing decisions, in the realization of fundamental rights, when the subjects under jurisdiction do not comply to the race and gender standard of those who judge them. In this way, it is questioned whether the hand of the Judiciary that caresses, perhaps is not filled with resistance and limitations.

Interfaces entre Violência de Gênero Contra Mulheres e a Saúde Mental

Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa que objetivou analisar as interfaces existentes entre o fenômeno da violência de gênero contra mulheres e o campo da saúde mental. Utilizou-se as bases de dados LILACS e SCIELO. A busca ocorreu nos meses de abril a maio de 2024, com a utilização dos seguintes descritores: “saúde mental”, “violência de gênero”, “violência doméstica” e “violência contra a mulher”. Após aplicação de critérios de inclusão e exclusão, foram selecionados 17 artigos. Os resultados foram organizados em duas categorias temáticas: 1) Violência de gênero contra mulheres e suas implicações na saúde mental; 2) Cuidado em saúde mental da mulher em situação de violência de gênero. Verificou-se que violência de gênero contra as mulheres pode ocasionar sofrimento psíquico de diferentes ordens. Os resultados também revelam a “invisibilidade” do fenômeno nos serviços de saúde, com o desenvolvimento de ações de cuidado voltadas para as consequências do ato. Pontua-se a necessidade da efetivação da rede de atenção e proteção, com o desenvolvimento de estratégias intersetoriais assertivas de enfrentamento, prevenção, promoção à saúde e cuidado integral. Destaca-se a necessidade da qualificação dos profissionais de saúde, por meio das práticas de prevenção e educação permanente.
