Este dossiê temático “Políticas para formação e produção em dança (pós)pandemia: perspectivas latino-americanas”, edição número 11 da Revista Dança, reúne artigos, tradução e entrevista que apresentam múltiplas perspectivas sobre o impacto da pandemia no campo da dança, área que que vem sendo atingida pela descontinuidade das políticas educacionais e culturais para as linguagens artísticas, em distintos países. Parte dessas discussões foram realizadas em duas edições dos Webinários “Políticas para a Dança e os impactos da pandemia: perspectivas latino-americanas” (2020 e 2022), organizados pelo grupo de pesquisa PROCEDA (Políticas, Processos Corporeográficos e Educacionais em Dança – CNPq).

This text gives an overview of some experiences that the time of pandemic and postpandemic brought to Mexican dance (2020-2022). It intends to show the response that four dance agents gave in two areas: independent spaces for dissemination, and professional
contemporary dance groups. The article is composed of three sections. The first presents an overview of Mexican dance field. The second refers briefly to the shock that the dance sector experienced due to the covid-19 pandemic and its forced migration to a virtual space. The third talks about the adaptation strategies developed in an independent theatre in Mexico City, that maintained and expanded its work, and the choreographic creations of three professional contemporary dance companies during this period. All these examples are seen since the desire of the dance artists to “poner el cuerpo” and Larrosa’s experience (2006).

Proponho a reflexão sobre algumas questões no campo da cultura e da arte, mais especificamente da dança no pós-pandemia, frente à instabilidade dos seus fazedores. Para isso, o recorte foi dado a partir da atuação de dois agrupamentos: o Dança de PE, criado em 2017 com atuação em pautas emergenciais, e a Cia. Artefolia, grupo artístico fundado em 1993, que cria diálogos com danças populares, ambos impactados pela pandemia no estado de Pernambuco. Para o desenvolvimento, foram analisadas situações vividas pelos dois coletivos, com abordagem de aspectos das políticas culturais, das práticas coletivas em conjunturas de precariedade, através de relatos de experiências e apontamentos com perspectivas de esperança, sobretudo na tessitura das redes coletivas de atuação para reinvenção das suas metodologias e modos que propiciem o engajamento, sejam eles de grupos de dança ou mobilizações políticas, para que as atualizações recentes advindas da retomada, em 2023, do Ministério da Cultura e da Funarte possam de fato capilarizar as políticas culturais.

POST-PANDEMIC CHALLENGES IN THE SPECIALTY OF DANCE AT THE FACULTY OF PERFORMING ARTS (FARES) OF THE PONTIFICIA UNIVERSIDAD CATÓLICA DEL PERÚ (PUCP)

This article focuses on the different perspectives and experiences of faculty and students in the Dance specialization at the Faculty of Performing Arts (Fares) of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) regarding the return to in-person classes after two years of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the study was to identify the impact on methodological learning activities, as well as the opportunities or challenges of adapting to the new educational context. To achieve this, a series of interviews were conducted with faculty members and students in the specialization during and after the
lockdown. Additionally, impressions are presented regarding the creations made by the students during that period. All the reflections made with faculty and students will lead to outlining six priorities that our dance program at the university must embrace, concluding that appropriate ways should be found to ensure these reflections reach our students, or to persist in a policy that decides to turn them into actions.

OS NOVOS DESAFIOS (PÓS)PANDEMIA PARA A FORMAÇÃO EM DANÇA NA UFG

In this article, we present our reflections on the challenges faced in the UFG degree course during the pandemic and especially “post pandemic”. We chose here to approach authors from the field of education, social sciences and art in order to enrich, deepen and build debates. We also present some actions adopted together with our academic community as one of the ways to rebuild the institution and our spaces of action as a place of discovery and reinvention, plural ways and doings. We discussed what we called a crisis of presence, which presented itself with conflicts and difficulties, and together we chose to find possible reaction strategies and construction of community life and identity.

DANÇAS DA DIÁSPORA AFRICANA-BRASILEIRA

This article proposes a debate on the diaspora dances of Africana-brasileira and its relation to art and culture policies, as it questions how these is contemplating said segment today. The questioning leads to the presumption that little or almost never the policies promote artistic-cultural, professional, social action, entertainment and leisure to such a dance specificity, which exists in a way apart from their rights and equality relations in the vast field of knowledge and knowledge of the Arts. Even with the absence of policies that contemplate them, their cultural agents, majority constituted by black and brown people, do not settle before the absences and precariousness, and create modes of resistance, (re) stocks and affirmation. In order to substantiate our ideas, we articulate methodologies that originate from aphroferified epistemologies, such as: Simas and Rufino (2019), which offer multiple and Intercrossed in the ballast of an aprodiast and decolonial thought, as define the coast, Torres & Grosfoguel (2020).

DISPOSITIVOS DE PODER E CONTROLE NO DESLOCAMENTO DAS AULAS PRESENCIAIS DE DANÇA PARA O ENSINO REMOTO NO ENSINO FORMAL

O artigo é uma reflexão sobre os dispositivos de poder nas relações de ensino aprendizagem em dança a partir do deslocamento das aulas presenciais para as aulas remotas, no contexto da pandemia da SARS-CoV-2 (covid-19), em 2020 e 2021, e as possíveis implicações no corpo de estudantes do ensino formal. A fundamentação teórica apresenta alguns conceitos sobre dispositivos de poder (FOUCAULT, 2003; 2014) e sujeição dos corpos em articulação com a teoria Corpomídia (KATZ; GREINER, 2005) e as relações entre tecnologia e cognição para compreender uma possível diminuição da movimentação das/dos estudantes no período pandêmico. A observação das possíveis transformações deu-se através da análise dos resultados obtidos da aplicação de questionário a professores da rede privada de ensino de turmas do 6º aos 9º anos, do ensino fundamental II, da rede privada do Paraná.

PRÁCTICAS DE ENSEÑANZA EMERGENTES EN LA FORMACIÓN DANCÍSTICA PROFESIONAL EN MÉXICO DURANTE LA PANDEMIA POR COVID 19

In this work I reflect on the ways in which three dance teachers from two professional dance schools in Mexico City and one in the City of Mérida, faced pedagogical continuity and generated new teaching practices in the face of the health emergency and
confinement that demanded the pandemic by C OVID 19. I use the interview to collect the narratives about their experiences during this period. I inquire about the transformations in dance teaching practices and their consequences on training, around three axes: the first one linked to the modifications and affectations in the educational times and spaces; the second one, to the contents, the selection and emphasis that allowed pedagogical continuity; and the third one, to the technologies, to the ways in which teachers and students related to them, to the possibilities and limitations they have generated, but also the benefits and innovations in teaching methodologies and educational interactions. The pandemic disrupted teaching practices, but also made possible the emergence of a pedagogy of exception (RIVAS, 2020), from which teachers built educational proposals that allowed students to learn and continue dancing.

PRÁTICAS DE PERFORMATIVAS E O CONFLITO DA MEMÓRIA NA COLÔMBIA

This article examines Corpografías, a digital archive that documents the artistic practices of Afro and Indigenous Colombian communities and their role in memory, peace, and reconciliation in the Colombian Pacific. It combines dance, theatre, and performance studies with social sciences and digital humanities, centering Afro and Indigenous communities in the archive’s development. The project challenges the marginalization of these communities by shedding light on their agency and dignity and addressing the interconnectedness of conflict, justice, peace, and reconciliation in Colombia. Corpografías emphasizes the significance of art and culture in conflict contexts, contributing to discussions on cognitive justice. It also provides safe spaces for community gathering and solidarity, fostering unity and collective expression. The project explores the processes that contribute to art and culture while addressing the communities’ structural claims for territory, identity, resources, and traditions. Ultimately, Corpografías amplifies afro and indigenous voices and knowledge, challenging dominant narratives and supporting the resilience and artistic production of these communities.

ENTREVISTA COM RUI MOREIRA (DIRETOR DA DACEN – DIRETORIA DE ARTES CÊNICAS - MINISTÉRIO DA CULTURA)

A entrevista, feita de forma escrita, possibilitou um transitar por temas que são de interesse da comunidade da dança e das artes cênicas, após os seis anos do inicial desmonte das políticas culturais federais e a posterior extinção do Ministério da Cultura. Assim, Rui Moreira apresenta reflexões iniciais das políticas culturais, nesse processo de retomada do Ministério da Cultura e da Funarte. Nessa multiplicidade de temas emergentes, destaca-se a importância da participação da sociedade civil, discutem-se os problemas do fomento e da regulamentação da profissão do artista da dança, bem como, temas sobre a diversidade, inclusão de gênero, questões étnico-raciais e a descentralização geográfica das ações da Funarte são abordados.
