Abstract

The article draws on the experience of organizing a short course dedicated to the work of Michel-Rolph Trouillot during the XV Mercosur Anthropology Meeting (RAM) in 2025 to reflect on the teaching, circulation, and reception of the Haitian anthropologist and historian’s thought in Brazil.
