Introduction: endodontic treatment consists of emptying and disinfecting root canals. Treatment success can sometimes be compromised by complications such as calcified canals, prosthetic crowns that hinder access to the canals, and persistent periapical lesions. Guided endodontics, a recent technology involving tomographic planning resulting in a 3D model, has emerged to resolve complex cases in endodontics more effectively and safely. Objective: to evaluate the perception and knowledge of endodontists about guided endodontics. Methodology: this is an observational study in which, through an online form, guided endodontists' level of knowledge and perception about guided endodontics was assessed. The form was sent via social media between June and July 2024. Results: it was observed that 100% of the individuals in the sample had already heard about guided endodontics. However, for 44.7% of them, the study of guided endodontics was not included in the postgraduate program content. The majority, 85 respondents, use guided endodontics to resolve complex cases, commonly for calcified root canals (66%), endodontic microsurgery (51.5%) and fibreglass pin removal (31.1%). Conclusion: professionals increasingly adopt Guided endodontics due to its effectiveness, safety, and comfort, highlighting the importance of continuously updating professionals to maximise this technique's benefits.
