O artigo apresenta uma breve análise dos documentários musicais do diretor Georges Gachot: Maria Bethânia – Música é perfume (2005) e Rio Sonata (2010). Pretendo examinar o tratamento sonoro e musical explorado nos enlaces da memória individual de depoentes, da apropriação de material de arquivo e edição de imagens tomadas no presente da filmagem, que revelam um estilo de direção mais poético do que informativo.Downloads
