Abstract

Resumen: La controversia en el debate sobre el canon literario producido en EE. UU. en los noventa sirvió de base para el análisis de los procesos de canonización en otros campos de creación artística, aunque no con el desarrollo deseable. Esto se aprecia, por ejemplo, en el déficit en el estudio de este fenómeno en el cine. En este artículo intentamos desentrañar las claves del posicionamiento privilegiado del cine de Pedro Almodóvar en EE. UU. desde una perspectiva polisistémica, una opción completa para abordar estas ideas desde la complejidad de las dinámicas del mundo actual.
