Este artigo visa reconstituir, por meio de diversos tipos de documentos, a realização, a exibição e a recepção crítica do filme El hombre que nació dos veces, produção argentina de 1938 dirigida por Oduvaldo Vianna. Ademais, objetiva-se reconstruir a narrativa e indicar algumas características estéticas da película, sendo de observar que se trata de um filme desaparecido. Esta obra resulta de um caso de circulação de um artista no período de constituição das indústrias culturais na América do Sul.Downloads
