The following paper focus on the other’s look and its role in the changes of boundaries between the public and the private that appears in the practices of the exhibition of intimacy. The present goal is to understand how the recent changes in the other’s look are articulated with communication technologies, showing what was unrevealed in the past in the public level. The paper approach is to try to expose what this ‘public’ eye represents in the present, what it manifests, demands or stimulates, and how it works between what is showed and what is hidden. Such analysis tries also to enlighten subjectivity that appears and is produced in these practices.Downloads
