Abstract

This paper explores the temporal organization as a dimension of analysis in the production of journalistic event. It is proposed an understanding of the present time in journalistic discourse as a necessary sense produced from the combination of certain representations of the time figure. The approach focuses on the way the temporality integrates the system of rules that defines the particularity of the journalistic discourse, that systemize the world and to produce the culturally related meaning to the present time information.
