Abstract

This paper deals about an approach to the study of myths and themes in nowadays audiovisual production, in the work of professor Román Gubern. First of all we make an introduction to the vast professor Gubern’s bibliography, which has been categorized in three main areas of knowledge. We have chosen Gubern’s main works related to the study of thematology in nowadays audiovisual production due to the fact that, precisely, the author of this article has analyzed, in her doctoral thesis, the temathology in US fiction TV series.
