This paper seeks to reflect upon what it means to understand a magazine as an object in the Field of Communication. The article is based on three inter-related movements: 1) presentation of some existent gaps in researches about journalistic products; 2) a discussion of magazine as a medium of communication; and 3) elaboration of a concrete research problem about magazine expert journalism. In this track, some notions are intertwined: communication as a process, magazine as a media device and expert journalism as a practice directed to the coverage of contemporary society’s great issues.Downloads
