Abstract

In this article, we aim to analyze the most recurrent sources, themes and positions in the titles of vaccination videos excluded from YouTube during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil. Through thematic analysis, content analysis and digital methods, we found the prevalence of positions against vaccination in titles that mentioned politicians and addressed religious themes in order to discourage vaccination in the country. By pointing out the political and religious approach as factors that can interfere with vaccine adherence, our study can support content moderation policies and actions to combat vaccine hesitancy.
