We intend to analyze the experience of deploying a post-colonial cinema in Mozambique in the 70s and 80s, after the country's independence in activities conducted by the newly created National Institute of Cinema and other initiatives that orbited around it. We start from the presence of important names of world cinema as Ruy Guerra, Jean Rouch and Jean-Luc Godard in Mozambique seeking to identify their affiliations with the project and implications for Mozambican cinema.Downloads
