Este artigo apresenta uma proposta de aproximação teórica ao ensaio fílmico a partir da noção de “obra aberta”, conforme formulada por Umberto Eco. Para isso, busca investigar o modo como a série de ensaios audiovisuais História(s) do Cinema, de Jean-Luc Godard, dialoga com o modelo sugerido por Eco originalmente em 1958, e que tem servido desde então como instrumental teórico-analítico para a reflexão a respeito de determinadas poéticas caracterizadas pela abertura. Parte-se da premissa de que este cruzamento é possível em dois âmbitos, tomando História(s) do Cinema como um corpus analítico exemplar: o da obra artística em si, aberta em suas ambiguidades e movimentos, e o da obra aberta como metáfora epistemológica.Downloads
