THE NEWS DYNAMICS ON SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES: the circulation from the content of posts on Twitter and Facebook

The News dynamics on social networking sites is related to the circulation from the form of presentation and the content of posts, as well as recirculation from the participatory actions of user. This article aims to present a proposal for categorization of circulation from the content of the posts (alert, update, context, impact, convergence, collaboration and compound) and analyze how the news is constructed on Twitter and Facebook. The empirical object consists of posts published in January, 2013, on Twitter and Facebook accounts of the journalistic portal Estadão, about the fire in Kiss Nightclub in the city of Santa Maria in Rio Grande do Sul.Downloads
