Abstract

O surgimento de uma nova forma de comunicação realizada através das tecnologias digitais vem reacendendo as discussões sobre a plausibilidade de um modelo de democracia deliberativa, que, nessa nova perspectiva, estaria ancorada nas potencialidades dos novos meios. Esse trabalho pretende abordar algumas questões sobre a interface novas mídias/democracia na tentativa de visualizar de que formas o uso do ciberespaço pode aprimorar a participação popular no processo democrático.
