Abstract

No presente artigo reflete-se sobre a temática da opinião pública no contexto das tec- nologias digitais de comunicação e informação (TDCIs). Através da análise de conteúdo e da análise de redes sociais referentes ao episódio de racismo pós-eleições presiden- ciais brasileiras de 2010 (caso Mayara Petruso), discorre-se sobre as implicações das in- terações simbólicas mediadas pelas TDCIs e sobre a circulação de opiniões no ambiente digital na esfera de visibilidade e na opinião pública. O estudo evidencia a ampliação da esfera de visibilidade e o redimensionamento na dinâmica da opinião pública.

Matheus Lock, Universdade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul

mestre em Comunicação e Informação pela UFRGS, graduado em Comunicação Social pela PUCRS. Tem experiência na área de comunicação, com ênfase em marketing, branding e planejamento publicitário. Master of Communication and Information UFRGS, graduated in Social Communication PUCRS. He has experience in communication, with an emphasis on marketing, branding and advertising planning.

Rudimar Baldissera, Universdade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul

possui graduação em Relações Públicas pela Universidade de Caxias do Sul (1989), especialização em Gestão de Recursos Humanos pela Universidade do Vale dos Sinos (1997), mestrado em Ciências da Comunicação/Semiótica pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (1999) e doutorado em Comunicação Social pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2004). Vice-Presidente da Abrapcorp (2010-2012). Atualmente é professor adjunto do Departamento de Comunicação - Faculdade de Biblioteconomia e Comunicação - e professor e pesquisador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação e Informação da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Tem experiência na área de Comunicação, com ênfase em Comunicação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: comunicação, relações públicas, comunicação pública, estratégia, comunicação organizacional, identidade, imagem-conceito, cultura, relações de poder e comunicação turística. Graduated in Public Relations at the University of Caxias do Sul (1989), postgraduate in Human Resource Management at the University of the Vale dos Sinos (1997), MA in Communication Sciences / Semiotics at the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (1999) and Ph.D. in Social Communication at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2004). Abrapcorp Vice President (2010-2012). He is currently assistant professor in the Department of Communication - School of Library and Communication - and a professor and researcher at the Postgraduate Program in Communication and Information of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Has experience in Communications, with an emphasis in communication, mainly in the following areas: communication, public relations, public communication, strategy, organizational communication, identity, image, concept, culture, power relations and communication tourist.
