Abstract

O presente artigo busca lançar discussão sobre a ideia de “cinematografia nacional” a partir de Lagny e de Sorlin, em vias de estabelecer um estudo sobre o “cinema moderno periférico”, mais especificamente na América Latina. Para essa discussão, de caráter essencialmente historiográfico, abordaremos o procedimento teórico-metodológico empreendido por Schweitzer em sua revisão historiográfica do cinema israelense ao estudar o grupo de filmes sob o nome de “Nouvelle Vague Israelense” ou “Nova Sensibilidade”. The present study attempts to launch discussion on the idea of "national cinema" as from Lagny and Sorlin, order to establish a study on "peripheral modern cinema", specifically in Latin America. For this discussion, essentially historiographical, will discuss the theoretical and methodological procedure undertaken by Schweitzer in his historiographical review of the Israeli cinema as he studies the group of films under the name "Israeli New Wave" or "New Sensibility".

Author Biography

Fabián Núñez, Universidade Federal Fluminense

É professor adjunto do Departamento de Cinema e Vídeo da Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), desde 2009. Também leciona no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação (PPGCOM). Sua formação acadêmica foi inteiramente realizada na Universidade Federal Fluminense: Bacharel em Comunicação Social (Habilitação em Cinema), em 2000; Mestre em Comunicação, Imagem e Informação, em 2003, e Doutor em Comunicação, em 2009. Trabalhou como voluntário (1996 a 1999) e estagiário (de abril de 2001 a junho de 2002) na Cinemateca do Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro. Foi professor substituto (Assistente nível 1) da Universidade Federal Fluminense, no Departamento de Cinema e Vídeo, de 2005 a 2007. Atualmente, faz parte da direção da Associação Brasileira de Preservação Audiovisual (ABPA). Seus temas de interesse são: cinema latino-americano, cinema brasileiro, história do cinema, crítica cinematográfica e preservação audiovisual.
