Abstract

A partir da noção de “cena musical” Straw (1991) e da compreensão de Janotti (2003) sobre a “identidade do rock”, o artigo observa a presença de um compromisso em narrar o lugar e o pertencimento cultural em três bandas belemenses de rock – Mosaico de Ravena, Stress e Madame Saatan. Procura-se compreender certas dinâmicas narrativas presentes na produção dessas bandas como um jogo de assimetrias identitárias: a oposição entre o “local” e o “nacional” num plano e, em outro, a idealização de uma relação entre o “local” e o “universal”. Esses efeitos de sentido são tematizados enquanto “fantasmaticidades” ontológicas (Derrida, 1994) por meio das quais se produzem experiências de diálogo com processos simbólicos mais amplos, presentes na sociedade amazônica contemporânea, de territorializacão e de identificação social.
