Abstract

In the contemporary world, everyday activities have required greater agility in communication, with regard to the exchange of information and greater development in the electronics industry, with semiconductors standing out in biotechnological advancement. For the commercial viability of semiconductor crystals, obtained through patent PI 1105934-6 and accepted in Centelha II, a technological prospecting study was carried out using the keywords “Semiconductors, Fungi and Electronic”, in the Web of Science – Espacenet database, by codes indexed in the International Patent Classification (IPC). The thorough evaluation of works related to the theme of this study highlighted a promising scenario for the application of semiconductors in the electronics and biotechnological instrument industries, which drives the economic development of countries that invest in research related to this technology.
