The purpose of this article is to analyze the implementation process of the Aldir Blanc Law I by the Secretariat of Culture and Tourism of Minas Gerais (SECULT MG) during the years 2020 and 2021, focusing on the execution of the 27 public calls published in 2020, which form part of Section III of the referred law. To this end, it presents quantitative and qualitative data supporting the analyses, with an emphasis on individual proponents and accreditation calls. The overarching goal is to contribute to the reflection on new drafting processes and the creation of new tools for the implementation and evaluation of cultural policies through the use of measurement and analysis methods, aiming for the effective possibility of creating indicators for the cultural field.
