Abstract

The text is a transcript of the author's speech at the panel "Architecture, urbanism and the city read by the sexed body" of the Sexed Cities Colloquium. Rossana Brandão Tavares discusses the urgency of an epistemological inversion in architecture and urbanism studies through the lens of feminist theory. With this, she proposes concepts around the notion of body-territory to construct other modes of knowledge production through engaged, undisciplined and collective research methodologies.
