The text is a transcription of the author’s talk at the panel “LGBTQIA+ Collectives and the Occupation of the City,” part of the Cidades Sexuadas Colloquium. Alexandre Pajeú Moura examines the activities of artistic and urban collectives in Brazil, focusing on the group Salve Rainha, which operated in Teresina between 2014 and 2018. The author describes how these groups use art and tactical occupations to reclaim neglected public spaces and promote new ways of experiencing the city.
