Sexed Cities is the second installment of the Talks on Architecture and Urbanism compilation. It brings together reflections on gender, sexuality, race, and class in the production of urban space, drawing on presentations delivered at the Sexed Cities Colloquium, held in September 2022. This issue highlights orality as a legitimate mode of knowledge production and presents experiences, research, and narratives that challenge hegemonic ways of thinking about and shaping the city. It invites readers to engage with critical perspectives that reaffirm the right to the city and the transformative potential of dissident bodies in urban life.
