Abstract

The paper discusses the use of informative systems and technological applications in data administration in the segment of clinical analyses laboratories. Based on bibliographical research, it identifies the role and the implications of the New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTICs), as support tool to the managerial decision-making process, in the dynamics of the informational flow. The results instigate an in-depth discussion on the merit of the qualitative administration of the information and its impacts on the field of the knowledge management of all agents that characterize the informational flow in the segment of clinical analyses: patients, suppliers, clinical body and service providers.
