Abstract

Abstract: The development of Technology, Science and Innovation Policies, throughout the twentieth century, notably in the context of the network society, reflected on the evolution of the concept of science and outlined the creation and diffusion of knowledge resulting from it as a phenomenon whose understanding It requires an interdisciplinary look. Through theoretical discussion and conceptual review, the article, resulting from ongoing doctoral research, aims to discuss the field of Scientific Knowledge Management as an interdisciplinary synthesis formed by Knowledge Management, Scientific Communication and Organizational Communication. The course followed has theoretical and epistemological contributions aimed at problematizing the neutrality of the scientific field, discussing how theories and assumptions of Knowledge Management and Communication developed as a way to optimize productive processes along the lines of capital and to highlight interdisciplinary intersections among the fields discussed, based on their often latent compatibilities in the literature.
