Abordagem das Capacidades como meio para Mensuração da Criação de Valor Social
Abstract
Social Entrepreneurship seeks to minimize societal problems, whose fundamental output is the creation of social value, the measurement of which requires efficient means in order to communicate it to the various stakeholders. This research aims to propose a tool to measure the Creation of Social Value by Enterprises, based on Sen.'s Capabilities Approach. A survey was conducted with 174 beneficiaries of 4 Social Enterprises: homeless adults; young people living in rural areas; children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability; and women in situations of social vulnerability. Paul Anand's tool was used to measure the level of well-being of the sample group. Considering the results of the Exploratory Factor Analysis, a tool to measure well-being/social value is proposed, composed of 4 constructs: Affiliation; Control over the environment; Physical and Emotional Security; and Work. Statistical tests also indicated the sensitivity of the research tool to the perception of capabilities and well-being of socioeconomic groups.
