Occupied Atlantic: A Day's Photo Essay on Earth in Sight

Abstract

This Photo Essay was carried out in the Atlantic Beach occupation, in the region of the Atlantic Coast of Salvador-BA, and aims to capture images of the occupation to compose analysis material for the research Atlantic Beach - Right to Live in Salvador. The photographic records were configured as a photodiary of the research team's dialogues with the occupation – documenting the application of questionnaires and interviews with residents and their families. From these records, reflections are presented on the possibilities of image records in qualitative research and on the right to live and the right to the city.
