Pati Valley is portrayed as a unique territory of environmental preservation located in the heart of Chapada Diamantina, accessible only through long hiking trails that cross mountains, rivers, and rugged landscapes. The absence of roads reinforces its sense of isolation and natural protection, requiring physical effort and determination from visitors, while offering, in return, an intense and meaningful connection with nature in an almost untouched state. Along the trails, travelers are confronted with the magnitude of rocky cliffs, waterfalls, and vast open spaces, which highlight the fragility of human life in contrast to the power and permanence of the natural environment.
