About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The *Revista Conversas Civilísticas* aims to disseminate research in Civil Law, encompassing dogmatic analyses on obligations, contracts, tort law, property law, family law, and succession law, as well as critical and interdisciplinary studies that examine legislative, jurisprudential, and social transformations affecting the civilist field. The journal is the result of the *Conversas Civilísticas* Research Group, accredited by CNPq and developed at the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Bahia, and serves as a forum for academic dialogue among researchers, professors, students, and legal professionals. It encourages the publication of original scientific works, critical reviews of specialized literature, and the consolidation of theoretical debates that contribute to the advancement of contemporary civil law scholarship.

Publication Frequency

The publication frequency is biannual, with one issue released every 6 months:

  • January/June issue: publication will occur by June.
  • July/December issue: publication will occur by December.
