“VERGONHA É CONSENTIR, VERGONHA É NÃO AMAR”: GÉNERO, SEXO E SEXUALIDADES, DIÁLOGOS POÉTICOS E POLÍTICOS EM DEVIR | “SHAME IS TO CONSENT, SHAME IS NOT TO LOVE”: GENDER, SEX AND SEXUALITY, FORTHCOMING POETIC AND POLITICAL DIALOGUES

Résumé

A questão formulada no título do poema “What’s in a Name?” de Ana Luísa Amaral serve de mote para o ensaio proposto, “De que falamos quando falamos de poesia?”, “de que falamos quando falamos de género e de sexo?” “E de que falamos quando falamos de amor?” se constituem nas questões mapeadas no ensaio que trata do papel da poesia “como um antídoto para a mais profunda injustiça e desvergonha”. Pontua ainda sobre a desigualdade de gênero e as políticas relativas ao gênero, ao sexo e às sexualidades, bem como discorre sobre o seu fazer poético.

Abstract: The question asked in the title of the poem “What’s in a Name?” by Ana Luísa Amaral, is to be the motto to the proposed essay. “What are we talking about when we talk about poetry?,” “What are we talking about when we talk about gender and sex?,” “What are we talking about when we talk about love?” are questions within the essay which discuss the role of poetry “as an antidote to deepest injustice and non shame”. They also call attention to gender inequality and the policies related to gender, sex and sexualities, along with their poetic act.
