HABILIDADES PSICOMOTORAS EM CRIANÇAS DO PRÉ-ESCOLAR EM UM DOS CENTROS INFANTIS NO MUNICÍPIO DO SUMBE, CUANZA SUL/ANGOLA

Abstract

This article reports on children's psychomotor skills in preschool education in one of the children's centers in the province of Cuanza Sul, Sumbe-Angola, to analyze how educators work and evaluate gross and fine psychomotor skills. Good psychomotor development provides the child with basic capabilities such as good body control, well-defined lateralization, faculty of symbolization, space-time orientation visual-motor coordination, etc. To this end, there is a need to assess the analysis of the results of the observations made to ascertain the effectiveness of activities for the development of psychomotor skills. Early childhood education is defined as the first stage of lifelong education and there must be basic and necessary conditions for children to continue learning and develop their skills based on what they already know. The present study is of a descriptive qualitative nature, which encompasses a diversity of methods and techniques for data collection such as observation, questionnaire survey, structured interview with a bibliographical approach, and documentary analysis.
