Abstract

Apresenta um levantamento das representações acerca da diversidade sexual e de gênero no Arquivo Nacional, tendo como referencial metodológico a perspectiva de arquivo enquanto campo etnográfico. Neste sentido, procura revelar como a documentação depositada naquela instituição retrata os sujeitos desviantes tanto da heteronormatividade quanto da identidade de gênero com base no sexo biológico. O foco desta comunicação refere-se ao Fundo da Divisão de Segurança e Informações do Ministério da Justiça (DSI/MJ), correspondente ao onipotente Serviço Nacional de Informações (SNI), durante a ditadura militar no Brasil.
