As diversas faces da homofobia: diagnóstico dos desafios da promoção de direitos humanos LGBT

Este artigo discute a noção de homofobia - relacionada às noções de heteronormatividade e heterossexualidade compulsória - considerando os desdobramentos conceituais, as disputas e contradições que permeiam o referido conceito à luz da literatura recente. Além disso, através de uma revisão bibliográfica interdisciplinar, refletimos sobre os diversos modos com que esse fenômeno opera em distintos domínios sociais como nos campos da saúde, educação, segurança, mídia, entre outros. Assim, objetivamos tecer um „diagnóstico‟ dos desafios que o Brasil enfrenta para promover a cidadania e os direitos humanos de lésbicas, gays, bissexuais, travestis e transexuais (LGBT).Downloads
