Abstract

Este trabalho autoetnográfico busca explicar como que meus processos de socialização no gênero e a construção da minha identidade travesti se constituem em meio às falhas na proteção do meu direito à vida urbana.  A partir da análise de três narrativas minhas, demonstro como situações de opressão e, consequentemente, de sofrimento ocorrem devido a interpelações que recebo ao passar por espaços urbanos. Portanto, utilizo minhas próprias histórias cotidianas para denunciar facetas de uma sociedade estruturada na cisnormatividade e na transfobia.
