Espaços de excitação: breve trajetória do pornô nas salas de cinema no Brasil

Este artigo apresenta brevemente a trajetória do cinema pornô no Brasil desde suas primeiras aparições até sua exibição em salas de cinema em várias cidades. Marcado por questões como o interesse dos espectadores, ilegalidade, clandestinidade e sucesso, o pornô inseriu-se nas salas de cinema das principais cidades brasileiras, influenciando nos fluxos da dinâmica urbana. Nos anos 1970-1980 alguns cinemas especializaram-se no gênero pornô, como ocorreu em São Paulo, Fortaleza, Recife e Salvador, por exemplo, tornando-se mais tarde espaços cujo interesse dos frequentadores ia além da exibição dos filmes, ou seja, na possibilidade da prática de sexo e encontro de parceiros.
