A presente resenha apresenta as representações de feminilidade e masculinidade nos ritos de duas comunidades tradicionais que estão ligadas às ritualísticas mortuárias. A irmandade da Boa Morte e o Culto de Baba Égún são as bases para a antropóloga Joanice Conceição perceber as dinâmicas e rupturas que a categoria gênero lança sobre os espaços sociais de matrizes africanas.Downloads
