Abstract: The purpose of this text is to offer a literature review that, in an interdisciplinary approach, problematizes the performative dimension of space. This idea helps to conceptualize space as an integral part of subjectivities imprinted on bodies and, at the same time, as a catalyst support for the engagement of groups that challenge visibility. Because it recognizes the transitivity of the discourses that traverse space, the performative is announced here in its political strength, as it contributes to the deconstruction of visibility regimes.
Keywords: Public space. Performativity. Body. Gender. Visibility.
