This article presents part of the findings of a master's thesis in Social Psychology, focusing on the Lez Girls Party, a party geared toward women interested in women, held between 2010 and 2020 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The research aimed to analyze the transformations that occurred in the event's format over time, as well as to understand how political and feminist discourses circulating in the country were progressively incorporated into the party's dynamics. To this end, bibliographical references on LGBTQIAPN+ sociability in Brazil, especially that of lesbian women, and on the nightlife circuits in the central region of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, were mobilized. The study was also based on semi-structured interviews with partygoers and an analysis of social media posts associated with the event. The data indicate that the Lez Girls Party operated as a significant space for the production of subjectivities and the visibility of lesbianism, contributing to the construction of collective and politicized forms of expression and belonging. Over the years, however, tensions and differences within the community that the party brought together also became evident, marked by intersections of race, class, gender performativity, and other social markers. The conclusions thus highlight the heterogeneity of experiences within the party space, as well as the importance of recording and valuing lesbian memories, which would otherwise tend to be historically erased.
