Borborema’s Queen: sexo, marcadores sociais e moralidades em uma sauna frequentada por homens em Campina Grande-PB

Abstract

A partir da descrição e análise de uma sauna frequentada por homens em Campina Grande, interior do estado da Paraíba, procuro neste artigo discutir as possíveis conjugações e disjunções envolvendo sexo e identidade sexual em sua articulação com outros marcadores sociais como idade e classe, atentando tanto para os perfis de seus frequentadores e os tipos de interação estabelecidos entre eles, quanto para os
discursos de outros interlocutores sobre a sauna. Busco igualmente aqui problematizar as noções de local, espaço e paisagem e o lugar do pesquisador inserido num contexto propício à prática sexual. Na parte final do texto, destaco a tensão que permeia a experimentação do sexo, tensão esta traduzida em um idioma moralizante e numa retórica onde se privilegia o ideal do amor romântico e da parceria pautada no afeto, na estabilidade e monogamia.
