Prazer, eu sou arte, meu querido: apontamentos historiográficos para uma genealogia da travestilidade drag queen

O espraiamento das audiovisualidades drag queens em mídias nacionais e internacionais tem instigado nosso olhar a resgatar rastros de suas presenças no mundo em diferentes contextos socioculturais. A fim de tentar cartografar focos dessa metamorfose de gênero enquanto manifestação artística em pontos distantes no tempo e no espaço, este artigo, então, recolhe fragmentos bibliográficos, a partir de Amanajás (2014), Baker (1994), Berthold (2001), Newton (1972) e Trevisan (2004), para propor uma possível genealogia da travestilidade drag queen em culturas orientais e ocidentais.
