Abstract

O teste apresenta alguns aspectos do desenvolvimento da enfermagem em unidades sanitárias da Rede Básica de Serviços de Saúde de Salvador, e sua contribuição para a crescente inserção das mulheres na década de 70, principalmente. Destaca as atividades realizadas pelas enfermeiras e explica as características atuais de assistência de enfermagem nessas instituições assistências de saúde. O texto aborda, também, alguns aspectos gerais do desenvolvimento das ações de saúde no Estado e em Salvador.
