ANALYSIS OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES USED BY NURSING TECHNICIANS IN VACCINE ROOMS

Objective: to analyze the health technologies used by nursing technicians in vaccination rooms. Method: qualitative study, carried out with nursing technicians from Primary Health Care in a medium-sized city in the interior of São Paulo. They were invited to participate in a semi-structured interview. The information obtained was analyzed through thematic categorical analysis and compared with the theoretical framework of health technologies. Results: the findings comprised three themes: i) light technology: communication as satisfaction and challenge; ii) soft-hard technology: learning from professional practice and; iii) hard technology: the structural, material challenge and work overload. Final Considerations: this study made it possible to identify the health technologies used in vaccination rooms and the ease of difficulties faced by the nursing team in their work process.Downloads
