RFI-TRIZ in the Brazilian Patent Office

This work relates the chronology of INPI services as an International Research Authority (ISA) with the deadlines for delivering its forms to WIPO, through the analysis of disruptive methodologies as an alternative to increasing the quality of its services. Thus, an exploratory case study of the reviews of the phase relevant to INPI’s service as an ISA are carried out, proposing the methodology of the Ideal Final Result (RFI) of the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ) as an instrument for the ideation of tools that enable compliance with the quality deadline imposed by WIPO. With the analyzes carried out, it was possible to present alternatives that complement INPI’s actions regarding the quality of its services and may also be useful for other International Research Authorities in the world.
