Distribution of Technology Parks in Brazil and the Entrepreneurial Role of Unifap: impacts on the formation of innovation ecosystems and regional development

The article examines innovation ecosystems in Brazil, highlighting Technology Parks, highlighting the context of the North Region, which presents less development in this aspect, compared to other regions of Brazil. The research aimed to analyze the role of the entrepreneurial profile of the Federal University of Amapá (Unifap) in the development of the innovation ecosystem in the North Region. Using a quantitative approach, where data from the Entrepreneurial Universities Portal was used to map technology parks by region, the research sought to understand the causes of this discrepancy in the North region, investigating the entrepreneurial profile of Unifap. This investigation sought, through a bibliographical survey, to understand the challenges of establishing technology parks in the northern region and propose strategies and actions to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in the region. The results show that Unifap is at an embryonic stage in its participation in the regional innovation ecosystem, highlighting an urgent need to strengthen its entrepreneurial capacity to promote more equitable technological development, strengthening this role in the region's ecosystem.
