Abstract

O presente artigo tem como objetivo problematizar questões de gênero e identidades através de propostas artísticas como o livro de artista, a fotografia e a música. Sugere-se que as artes permitem a experimentação de linguagens e estéticas que cativam a percepção tanto real quanto imaginária, ressignificando categorias identitárias. E que essas percepções constituem disparadores de sentidos que modificam os relacionamentos de si e entre si. Utilizam-se os estudos queer e feministas, recorrendo a autoras como Glória Anzaldúa, Judith Butler, Beatriz Preciado e Teresa De Lauretis, entre outras. Estudam-se as práticas artísticas que estão sendo realizadas e discutidas pelo Grupo de Pesquisa de (Des)configurações e Subjetivações em Artes (GEDESA), do Curso de Artes Visuais da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, no qual atuam artistas, acadêmicas e arte-educadoras.
