Abstract

In this paper I seek to reflect on love as a currency. As well as its connection with the experience of prostitution of trans and transvestite women. Questioning who is likely to be loved or just desired and fetishized, creating ways to experience affection and pleasure. An analysis that intertwines identity with the corporeality of these women, along with the field of affection and desire that is marked by the fetishization and repulsion of their bodies. Focusing on works such as: Amara Moira (2018), Sophia Rivera (2020) and Letícia Nascimento (2020), where they bring their experiences facing prostitution and/or loneliness as trans or transvestite women.
