INSERÇÃO E ATUAÇÃO DE ENFERMEIROS NA ASSISTÊNCIA EM ENFERMAGEM OBSTÉTRICA

Objetivo: analizar la inclusión y el papel de los enfermeros obstétricos en los cuidados de enfermería obstétrica desde una perspectiva de género. Métodos: Se trató de un estudio cualitativo realizado con enfermeros obstétricos. Los datos se recogieron en línea mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas por videoconferencia. Los datos se analizaron mediante análisis temático. Resultados: Surgieron dos categorías temáticas: inserción en el área de trabajo de enfermería obstétrica entrelazada con los roles de género y trabajo cotidiano en enfermería obstétrica: dificultades y desafíos relacionados con el género. Consideraciones finales: El enfermero obstétrico masculino enfrenta el reflejo de factores culturales y sociales que impactan en su inserción y trabajo en el área de atención a la mujer en el ciclo embarazo-puerperio.
